Same here Gordo ... with a lot of fire shootin out of'em too.

Feel for the guys on the coast making the long 125 mi run to blue water ... I can't handle it anymore.

Jeff,
I'm starting to lose my zest for the northern gulf in Jul/Aug ... (odds). Think I'll let the younger anglers have most of it and continue in the fall.

Talked to Boomer yesterday and he said you were coming over to fish in a couple of weeks, maybe this one will work out for you. Looks like you're still getting the rain you needed ... constant coastal storms from TX to FL the last few days. Hope that's all we get ... I'm tired of running.

Yep, I need to pick up a vehicle in Gulfport so I figure I should "multitask" my trip and fish for a few days. Hell Tampa is ONLY 7 hrs farther away than driving to Venice from Jackson. Just the 7 hrs extra driving back will suck.
Hopefully, we'll have 2 good weather/fishing days where I can bring home some YFT. I'm going to be bringing my pink popper per Capt Eddie's suggestion
