Default Back to the Delta

After a long stretch without fishing I finally made it out again last weekend. We made out way through the fog and slippped out of South Pass to find some nice 4ft seas but they were spaced out enough to make the run. Our first two stops produced plenty BF tuna on butterfly jigs but live bait would not cooperate. We moved East and found some small YF mixed in with the BF. I am pretty confident I could have chummed up some more YF but the sharks were taking a liking to the chunked BF. We put two small keeper YF in the boat although one lost a little meat to the damn sharks.

Stopped on the way in and put a fat AJ that also fell for a butterfly jig on ice.

Felt good to get out there.

Catch em up....

Elf and 989. Wanted to run longer but sea conditions were not favorable for my boat.
