Boomer and I were planning to fish 1/2/3/4 but it dosen't seem to be the case now.
Thought the summer pattern was starting but Murphy's Law bit us in the azz.

THURSDAY
SOUTHEAST WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 5 TO 7 FEET
SUBSIDING TO 4 TO 5 FEET IN THE AFTERNOON.

FRIDAY
SOUTH WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS. SEAS 5 TO 7 FEET. SLIGHT
CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.


SATURDAY
SOUTH WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET. CHANCE
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

With 'WINDS 15 TO 20 KNOTS' I don't think they'll be 15 seconds apart.

I was going to try a shot this weekend too.looks like there is a front pushing thru friday and they think it will stop along the coast.Dam,I need a fishing fix bad!Might head down to hopedale wensday.Brother call yesterday and told me that he and his son cought there limit of trout ranging from 4lbs to 6 1/2 lbs on top water action in the MRGO.Big fat females are hanging along the rocks.

Sunday should be alot calmer than saturday. And my long term wind forecast shows next weekend might settle down a bit.

Check out this link. Just replace the zip code in the address bar for your area and you get a 10 day wind forecast. I've been using it for about a year and find that it very closely follows the marine wind trends, but the noaa forecast doesn't go past 5 days or so. The rain percentage is pretty accurate too.

This looks pretty good from buoy weather. I don't subscribe and I've always used the 42040 buoy for real-time conditions before. Wish I had cofidence in this.


Tuesday 4/29
Morning
Breezy whitecaping conditions with moderate choppy seas. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: N 11 to 15 knots
Seas: N 2 feet at 3 sec.

Afternoon
Light winds with a slight chop. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: NNE 9 to 12 knots
Seas: NE 2 feet at 5 sec.

Wednesday 4/30
Morning
Light and variable winds with smooth seas. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: E 6 to 8 knots
Seas: ESE 1 feet at 6 sec.

Afternoon
Light winds with a slight chop. Small short period wind waves.
Winds: ESE 10 to 14 knots
Seas: ESE 1 feet at 3 sec.

Man,sh-t happens.Got a cal from bro n law.Him and my sister was to come down today.Dam,I had the trip planed for Hopedale.Anyway,they are not coming.So,I spend the morroning installing the lower unit on my other boat.Ya'll know,the one that had the lower unit seal leaking.Did that,then pulled the cover for a quick wash down inside.Now its 10:30 and nothing to do.Dam!Oh,stock market looking good till around 2:15 pm ET.Anybody got on to some Ford stock last week?I'm taking .92 profit off it.Bought 10,000 shares last friday at $7.51.Nice $9200!
