you may have seen this...if not tell me what you think....look to the right side of page and tell me what you get out of the mandatory circle hook and dehooking tool....."non stainless"????????

I would guess that they do not want stainless hooks in case of a broken line. The non stainless hooks will deteriorate and eventually fall out.

so no more j hooks at all on reef fish?

I can't count how many times I had pulled up fish that has 1 or 2 other hooks other then mine in there mouth.As far as using SS hooks for bottom fishing,never!That cost to much.Venting needle,steal that needle from the wife that injects a big bird with or have a pin knift.Please do learn on how to do it right.Its easy,just pop a hole right above and right in front of a fishes A hole.You will see and hear the air vent out.

No more.Hell,I been using circle hooks for snapper for close to 30 years.Let the fish hook up and DON"T SET THE HOOK!I catch more fish by just leaving the rod in the rod holder.

i have the actual venting tools from sea lab...if ya need i can mail ya one.....

Bluffman,thanks,but for some reason my wife buys more complete cajun injectors then needed,not just the refills.Also I can get big needles from my daughter as needed.She is a Vet tech and also is in her second year of Vet school at LSU.
