Bring beer. I always loaded an ice chest with food and drink just b/c it was easier/cheaper to do.
Don't follow BOOMER if you want to catch fish, unless Red is navigating.
Get with Tunatic and stay about 10 yds off of his stern and you should catch something.
Bring some extra beer for Red.

I hope y'all have a great time, beautiful weather, and fish jumping in the boat. Wish I could make it.

Well !!!!!!!!!!! Just looked at the extended forecast and the weather looks like SH%T for the weekend. There's another front coming thru on Friday. We may have to cancel but let's see what happens.
If we have to cancel offshore, I can take the bay boat down and try to do some inshore fishing if you guys want.

I have to agree with you ... long range forecasts have been 50/50. Boomer and I will take a look at the 3:30 pm NOAA marine forecast on Thursday and won't make a definite call till Friday when it's time to load up.

Just talked to a buddy (inshore guide) in Venice. Said he was in the fog baiting up trotlines in the muddy water for catfish ... the trout and most of the redfish were gone.

The 3:30 pm NOAA marine forecast on Thursday should be good enough.

Example of forecasts: Go to RodNReel bluewater reports and look at Capt Devlin's morning report.

Hey Les,

Since TBR T-Shirts are in Texas why don't you pick up a bunch and see if any of the guys going to Venice this weekend would be interested in buying some!!!

I'm sure once they see the shirts first hand they will want them!!

Let me know if you up to it!
