When is this going to end?
Forecast is a 3 ft rise in the MS river in the next 5 days.
Forecast for the seas is over 5 ft.

Funny you mention a 5 foot rise in the river, they are forecasting Mobile Bay to be 2 to 3 feet lower tomorrow with the strong North wind.

Looks like a break next sunday.It will still be a little sporty but fishable.Few of us are making plans as we speak for a get together down in Venice.Boomer(Don) is trying to help me fill out a crew.Anyone here want to fish?

I watch it daily as well. Been wanting to go bluewater diving ... some buddies went to the lump and speared an 83lb wahoo and several others of respectable size ... the only downside is they said huge hammerheads were thick...

I had pulled up 12' bull sharks out there in the pass.I don't think its that safe to dive out there when the weather is good.Think about 6000 to 10,000 lbs of chum going into the water at any giving time.Think any sharks will show?Then think about all those lines that are out.I myself had lost to many fish to other peoples anchor rode.Just think what a tuna will do when it pulls out 400 yards of line and you happen to be in the water around that.
