I PM'ed Skeeterman asking him if there were any decent substitutes for the lobster tails & he replied with crab cakes & or large prawn as well of maybe some very large sea scallops .

Farmerjane & I are going to attempt this recipe over the Holidays Lord help us.

Thanks Skeeterman!

OK, we, or I should say Farmerjane did it.

We could not find any Lobster tails in our area that we felt like were worthy of this recipe, so we opt'ed for the subsitution of crab cakes.

Guys - this is easy to do & will impress anyone you are trying to impress.

It was great!

Here is Farmerjane with the finished product.

Skeeterman, it was great! Thanks for allowing rednecks like us to feel somewhat sofisticated.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Wayne, Dee, & the boyz

Glad you guys liked it. Farmer jane Great pic and it looks awesome. Crab cakes are a great substitution and not really a sub some prefer them. Had to go to two houses tonight my girls parents and my parents and i feel like i am getting the flu. Have to do the same tomorrow. Merry x-mas to all.
