Well we are not the "Traditional type" either by the "Traditional family in teh US" standards either.

A typical meal for Christmas or Thanksgiving for us is a "Fresh ham" cooked slow in the smoker or oven in a pinch (None of that pre-cooked stuff) and a big pot of Shrimp and okra gumbo. Then some sweet taters and garlic bread to trim it with.

But then again we live in South Louisiana....... We ain't known for being normal anyway.
