Default Homebrewing

I took a 3 credit "Brewing Science and Technology" class last semester (ain't college great?!) and got a 5 gallon brewing kit for Christmas. Batch one is in the secondary fermenter and will go into the bottles next week.

Anyone else brew? I'm anxious to see how this one turns out and start the next one...

A good friend of mine has been brewing for years and has some good recipes, I can get ya hooked up with him if ya want.

I did for a while. Brewed some great stouts and porters. I was suprised how good it was! Just kind of stopped doing it but it was fun.

Why brew your own?
You need a buddy that works for the distributorship that likes to barter.......
