Default Dry Tortugas - West of Key West

Our trip to the tortugas is now set and I can't wait. We leave from Ft. Myers May 1st troll all night, bottom fish the Tortugas May 2nd and 3rd, troll and run to Key West May 4th, troll & run back to Ft. Myers May 5th. I'll be going on a friends 40' Ocean with a total of 3 other guys.

I'm sure I be taking a photo or two.

Details of the area: Dry Tortugas National Park (U.S. National Park Service)

Has anyone else on this forum ever fished the Tortugas?

Jeff

This s$cks, our trip was cancelled due to weather. Wind forecast was 20 mph for the first 2 days then 15 to 20 mph, not real fun to run 150 miles in 20 knots............

Steve,

The trip with Hector and some of the other Verado Group members is scheduled for June 19th thru the 22nd. Contact Hector and if you do not have his email address get in touch with me. I know at present we have his 34' YF and my other friends 40' Ocean going.
