Default Willing to trade some fishing time in Louisiana

I never had the chance to fish for the great bite for sailfish off Fla coast and I would like to trade some time on the water here in Louisiana.I am willing to trade spots at any giving time.If possable,a week of fishing would be great.I just don't want to trailer my boat that 1000+ miles.

Now,when is the best time for sailfish? Were would be the best place to fish at down in Fla for sailfish?

Here in Louisiana, the Hot yellowfin tuna bite is on till the end of March.Problem with that is weather. After March,April thru June there is a very nice dolphin bite and weather starts its summer time lay down. Also at this time is a good time to head out to the floater rigs at night for YF tuna.

I am willing to put up my boat (28' Baja sportsfishermen)and all expence to fish for a week if someone is willing to do the same with there boat. Now if someone is willing and has a better half that wants to fish,I have no problem there. My better half fishes with me most of the time.Weather days if blowing and can't make it offshore,we could always fish inshore for all the trout and redfish one wants to catch. So,if someone would like a trade, lets talk.

Your talking east coast of Florida and I'm on the west. Maybe visit the Florida Sportsman forum and post in the East or Southeast Fishing Forum section.

Now that sounds like a fair deal. Good luck on your search!

The best time to fish for Sailfish is towards the end of December thru January. The best place is on the east coast of Florida between Ft Pierce and Palm Beach. Just like in La you have to deal with the cold fronts moving thru. The good thing is that the fishing is useaully done between 7 and 12 miles offshore.
