Default Amazon fishing

Anyone here fished on the amazon. I lived on the mouth for 10 years and built my own fishing boats. JUst wanted to see if anyone here was as dumb as me when it come to fishing. lol

You live on the Amazon? Never fished nor been there, but I'd imagine that it's beautiful compared to Suffolk, VA.

Never got below 72 or above 80 always a nice ocean breaze.The fishing was great, we would get a fresh water fishery in the rainy season and a salt water fishery in the dry season. I allways thought about setting up a tarpon camp I took some in the 275 to 300 lb range It has never been fish much and still has a lot of potential. But it was a tough life to live had to pack a gun and not be afraid to use it. I here its a lot better today this was 15 years ago

It will probably work but it will take a long time to get astablished. There will have to be a lot of money invested in promoting the area.
