Default Another Split Bill Question

Hey folks, I've got another question on the split bill thread I started a while back. Where do you guys run them in your spread? I ran them off the rod tips last time and they ran great but I would like to get them further back as my boat doesn't seem to draw many fish in close to the stern. (darn outboards!) Anyways' do any of you run them from the short rigger or long rigger? I really want them to swim well but I hate having a bunch of line in the water and that would be the result if I just let them back further off the rod tip.

Capt Fred,
You can run them just about anywhere. I run them at all positions. I will adjust the weight depending on conditions. The rougher it is the larger the weight. I like a 1/2 oz chin weight this seems to work well...Mark

Good, I was hoping that was the case. I'd like to experiment with moving them around the spread to find out where the fish like them.
