More Chesapeake Bay Stripers
Closed out 2007 by taking dad out on the water for the day. We were greeted by a stiff 15-20kt wind and tight 3'ers as we made our way out into the Potomac. Marked a good number of fish and bait but it was a slow day. Got to bend the rod on a nice 35lb'er and had the water all to ourselves. As lousy as the weather was all year, we at least wrapped it up with smiles on our faces and good eats!

Lester, I was thinking the same thing. My dad passed away a couple years ago. We loved to fish together. Man, I miss those days.

Rosy red cheeks and all, Josh has.
We saw Josh, actually Braxton saw you as you were leaving PC last weekend in the Suburban, Saturday at 8am.
"Chris, I just saw that guy who works at the bank"
"What guy, who?"
"That guy, the dog guy (Goldendog) , he fished with us on the Southport, you know the guy who works at the bank."
"Oh, Josh, OK, Josh, yep he was fishing yesterday."
Glad you got a slob, they've been thick on the shoals down here, but I'm not brave enough to go get them. You guys were out in some miserable weather to catch that one.

Thanks guys. Those red cheeks are from wind burn. I threw on my irish wool sweater after being a bit chilly offshore last week and was actually sweating part of the day!
Chris, your son has a good memory! If it was Sun morning, it could've been me. If it was Sat then it was my evil twin as we were already at the gulfstream by then.
