I have one and fish out of it more than anything for the last year. It is an absolute blast. I am trying to work up a trip for a couple friends and I to make a trip this year offshore to video some tuna fishing in them. Might not be alot of catching but some interesting video for sure.

I fish out of our Kayak on average 2 times a month, mostly in the late Summer and early Spring. I do a lot of night time Snook fishing in the Yak. It is a blast to catch a 25" - 30" Snook in less then a foot of water.

That is a trip we are planning for this summer, a snook trip in Florida. I have always wanted to catch a snook and tarpon in the yak. Caught plenty trout, drum, shark, and bull reds but the tarpon will take the cake. Bluffman, you are right when that yf sounds if the drag is not right I will be wet!

Cool, any idea of your Florida destination? Bigger Snook are on the east coast, I live on the west coast.

Someone mentioned to me the Indian River. I would love to get farther south though

SMS,

Here are some photos from a quick morning trip today. Fished for about an hour just outside our canal.

Jeff
