Default 8/1 full choke report

Laid Saturday because of rough weather but decided to brave the heavy rain on Sunday and make the trip to the stream. Didn't see another outboard all day but the fishing conditions were decent.

Setout in the shallows after having a late start and 15 minutes laterwe were hooked ul to our first white. Had a midday lull and jumped off back-to-back whites after some bad luck. Had a couple mystery swipes and caught our second white just after lunch as the bite picked bAck up. We had to leave early so people could get back but we were happy with 2 whites, wish it couldve been a couple more though

Great report Alex. We are trying this weekend. What line did you get most of your bites. I would have thought Saturday would have been great, it was beautiful on the Chowan..Mark

Fishing is looking good ...IF the weather would co-operate!
Arch (Pelican) caught 2 blues and 8 whites yesterday...
+/- 950 and +/- 50 fathoms....
Lots of bailer dolphins ..
See you soon

Mark-
We fished 970 to the 035 and never went outside 60 fathoms. Stayed between 48-55 most of the day
