Default Old School or New Cool .........

Does not matter which way you fish, they both put fish in the boat.........

Old School - Silver Drone spoon behind a #4 Planer on a heavy rod with a big 50 wide, 2 speed Triton reel, loaded with 50# mono .......

New Cool - BlueWater Candy's Roscoe jig on a light weight, pencil thin rod with a Saltiga 30T high speed reel, loaded with 60# braid .......

What does matter is that you have a back up plan for contingencies, like 2 x 8 ' Sharks, 5 lost Roscoes & no Ballyhoo ........
And, Capt Jim of Plan 9 Charters had a few plans to deal with the double hook up of 2 green citation Cobias & hand lining in 1 angry Wahoo on a Planer ......

The only plan not covered was the largest size fish bag that would not hold any more fish. So we had to leave .......
With a 52# Cobia, 48# Cobia & about a 25# Wahoo .

Midnight Wind, thanks for offering to share you Ballyhoo with us John. Glad you had a great day on the water.
Hope to return your generosity some day soon.

Capt. Jim & Seth great fishing with you. Bring back some pictures & fish stories from your trip to the Galapogas Island ...... ICM
