Default Maybe a 1000 Reds ?????

My buddy Gene & I were the only people crazy enough to go fishing this morning, man was it cold - water temp 38 with north winds, brrrrr......

Found the school & it had to be about 1000 Reds tightly packed together.
Seeing them surfing the waves in about 3 feet & less of water, was a very cool sight ........
We did manage 3 over slot Reds ( about 34" ) using dead frozen Pogeys & Finger Mullet - fishing Carolina rigs on 9ft rods .......
Had a few pick up then drop the baits & a lot more of them bump your line as they swam by - the anticipation of hooking into another fish was a warm fuzzy feeling, better then having heat packs in your chest waders ......... ICM

Winter fishing on your own private paradise, got to love it!
