"FREE AGENT" Striper Report Dec.15-21

[FREE AGENT]

Well to sum up the Va. Beach Striper season so far ...I can use 1 word....."BRUTAL"......and by that I mean the weather.
I have had some tough guys fishing with me "Thank The Lord"
For the most part it has been a trolling bite........dragging around in scattered birds and bait.
The jigging bite usually gets started pretty good in Jan.
Have had some "Prime Dates" open up.......they are listed at the bottom of this post.
"You all come get ya some"

Dec.15......Did some C&R jigging in the morning and caught these up to 30 pounds trolling in the evening

Dec.16....Caught these in a 30 to 40 knot NorEaster.....it was truly BRUTAL......it was a trolling bite

Dec.17....Another Brutal 25 to 35 knot North wind whipping.......another trolling bite

Dec.18.....WOW WEE......We had a calm day....I could not believe it
Scattered bites trolling in heavy bait marks

Dec.20....Right back to 25 to 35 knots outta the North East...."Splendid..just Splendid"....Still a trolling bite in scattered birds and bait

Dec.21....Wind eased off to a sultry 25 gusting to 30 knots outta the North today......Still a trolling bite in scattered birds and bait
