Default Stripers in the Albermarle Sound

Anybody catching any stripers near the sound bridge in Edenton? I am planning to go fishing over the tg holiday and was wondering what bait they like best. I normally troll by the bridge but would like to know of other options. I am fairly new to striper fishing so any advice would be welcome.

Thanks

Jonesy

There have been some fish there. Most folks troll w/ yo-zuri deep divers or manns stretch 15+ plugs. Chartreuse or clown colors first, red and white second choice. If you find them it is fun to cast the pilings with some spinning gear. Rubber shad, grub tails or fin-s fish all work; same colors as above.
Maybe 1 out of 5 or 6 fish is a keeper, but good fun on the right gear.

Thanks for all the tips guys!!!
We went Friday afternoon and got skunked. Went Thanksgiving day and caught 8 with 5 keepers. The only thing we could get them to hit was small umbrella rig with 5 swim baits attached. Went yesterday and it was to windy and rough to fish. Attached is a picture of the keepers.

Nice going! There have been some real pretty fish around this year. They can be real cranky too from what I've seen. Some days hot, some lukewarm, and some days they won't bite no matter what you drag.

Pretty work, good ratio of keepers too.
I know they work well, but I haven't wanted to mess with the umbrella rigs. I might have to keep one around for tough times.
