I would use #80 powerpro or spiderwire to #40 mono.

I dont know if theese combinations are the best but they have worked well for our offshore fishing.. I have been using Momoi diamond on 6 of my Alutectos 30w2s reels and have not had any break offs. I really like the feel of the Momoi. On My Tld25s I have 80lb Jerry Brown spectra hollow core with a 100yd 60lb mono topshot. I like this combination too....Mark

I have a similar setup as Offshore. My Alutecnos 30W 2sp. are spooled with 50# Momoi Diamond, with a topshot of 220# Momoi (I did this for swords).

For tuna, I'd probably get rid of the 220# top shot and do something in the 80#-100# range.

I like the Moimoi also, I'd run the 40 pound diamond, has a breaking strength of like 56 lbs, and, as documented by Sportfishing Mag this fall, darn near as invisible as fluoro to the human eye.

I run 16 lb Moimoi on my spinning setups, and I use mostly moimi for leader, I like the limpness of it, doesn't coil as bad as some other leaders.

Momoi seems to be the best line to date. I use it on all my reels, and to be honest, I don't know anyone that doesn't use it. OK OK, I know a lot of people don't use it, but I've never met anyone that has anything bad to say about Momoi.
