I used a 30 2-speed on my recent trip to the Tortugas and it is a very sweet ML reel.
The 20's & 30's are in stock now and on sale @ Angler Systems.

Was watching the latest TV show of "On The Hook" this morning and they were using the new Daiwa 50W offshore reels battling some big BFT the reel looked really smooth. I was impressed.

Hey Jeff,
Here is a big shark we caught while jigging with one of the two Daiwas I bought from you last year. This was a couple of weeks ago. A big brown, maybe 200 lbs. The angler was a real experienced fisherman and he got it to the boat relatively quickly for such a huge shark. I didn't get any good pictures where the angler and shark were in the same frame for perspective but in one of the shots you can get a feel for the girth on that shark. Biggest brown I've seen by a long shot.
Awesome little reel. And this is the cheaper star drag version. I can't imagine how good the lever drags are!
