Default Hatteras Gaffers Sun and Mon

Fished Hatteras on Sun and Monday. The weather was just about perfect both days which is real unusual for Hatteras. It was even a bit calmer than we like on Monday but I'm not complaining!

On Sunday we caught 8 gaffers and one small king. The biggest is the one in the pic. On Monday we got 5 gaffers.

Most all of the fish were caught on naked ballyhoo and a few on skirted ballys.

We fished up the beach near the smell and slick wrecks for the most part. The water was real pretty for this time of the year. Temps 74 to 77 give or take. All in all a real nice trip.
