Default Planning a Bahama Fishing Adventure

I'm planning sometime in the spring to go to the Bahamas for some fishing. What Islands would be good to go to? I'm guessing 4 or 5 days with 2 or 3 days of fishing. If anybody wants to go, then let's go

For fishing I would head toTreasure or Marsh ..........That time of year the Tuna, Wahoo and Marlin are everywhere. 1 mile off the beach your in 2000 ft of water.
For more of a pleasure trip go to Port Lucaya.

I suggest Elbow Cay (Hopetown area) off Marsh Harbor. May is good month. Lots of gaffer mahi along with a good billfish bite. Not much tuna. Deep water close in saving fuel. Do a google on Sea Spray Marina... The Donzi would be perfect...
Regards and Good Luck,

Would have to concur with Dave. We stayed in Marsh Harbour and staying in hopetown would save you a couple miles of running. We caught this one on a rental boat last may...

I think we caught like 3 or 4 and had several bite offs. We weren't running wire or planers or any of that mess. Weren't any size to the ones we had and sharking was a big problem.

I would think if you had a devoted deep bait you could catch em alright but we wanted to billfish.

If you go the Marsh Harbour, there is some good bonefishing there too. I don't know about the other areas.
