OBX sound stripers report
Fished at Mann's Harbor Monday afternoon and was the only boat out there. Pretty windy. Used eels . . . not a bite. Fished again Tuesday for a long while. About 6 boats present with one charter out there (Reel Attitude). Trolled Stretches all over the bridge along with the charter boat. Not a bite. Used eels for awhile thereafter with no bites. To the best of my knowledge, not a bite had by any boat. Very little current on Tuesday. It was a nice day to be on the water except for the fish not biting.
Today . . . one of the roughest days on the sound I have seen. I am thankful that I took the boat out of the water yesterday instead of waiting until today.
