Default Did anyone get any good Xmas presents?

Just curious, did anyone get anything noteworthy for Xmas that's fishing related? Anything that wasn't fishing related? I got one present from my wife that I've been wanting for awhile. A Tiagra 50w LRSA. I can't wait to try that out on a tuna this year. I also got a bunch of gift cards to the Neuse sport shop, so I got up early this morning and bought a Tiagra 30w LRSA. Needless to say, it's time to go fishing. Tell us what you got

Congrats Mark. So you found one for the SIMRAD?
I'm hooking up things over the next couple of weeks. :-)

Hopefully the Stripers are moving south. I'm keeping my eye on the reports. Might need to make a trip in the next couple of weeks.

I did get something related to fishing. :-) Santa has sworn me to secrecy for now.
I'm sure it will be at the Spring get-together.

Jeff Jim at BOE had one and only one for the CX44. Thought I better get it since Simrad is part of Navico now. They wont be making the CX series anymore. The weather sucks!! I will be bringing the boat to the house to do the install and then run to the lake to calibrate it.

Dave you ready to head out of Southport?? It is about that time...Mark

Yeah, I closed on it a couple of weeks ago. Just trying to get the electronics installed, old name off and deciding on the new name. 2006 Contender 25 Sport w/ twin Yamaha F250's.

BTW. Mark, thanks for the info on the freshwater connection. It had a full tank. took about 20 mins to empty last weekend. Would not have been good with the drop in temps.

Congrats on the Contender!! Be sure and post some pics of her on here pretty soon. Someone told me not long ago that you had made an offer on one. Sounded like a good deal!
Mark, I'm just waithing on my outrigger to come back from Taco. I was going to put the tacos back on the boat, and try and sell them while I fished them, but I may just go ahead and order the Lee's and sell the taco's later. Anyway, as soon as I get that pole back, I'll be ready to go!!
