Some people like it, but I would suggest getting rid of that excess hair on the inside, no need for it, and depending on the length some think it may affect hook up ratio.

Here's a chin weight for swimming Ballyhoo that works well for me that you might try, not as bulky as an egg sinker, tucks in nicely between the gill flaps.

I've never seen 'No Roll Sinkers' for sale, 10+ yrs ago I was ordering an egg sinker mould,
saw that mould and knew it should work like a sailboat keel.
