Default Rip Lines

Att; Matt ... This is not meant to be an advertisement for any service. (just inlightment)

Question?

Is anyone using Hilton's Realtime navigator, the Ripcharts service or others for surface temps, altimetry, chlorophyll, etc? Ripcharts came out with a free 16 day trial offer and I find it impressive for what I want.

Red,

How do you sign up for the trial period on ripcharts? I glanced at the website but didn't see anything.

Hey Gordon,

I found it on RodnReel.

Are you still planning on fishing Fri/Sat with us? ... We should have fun.

Gotcha, I'll check rodnreel for it. Bluewater seems like it pushes in fairly close here, or at least has been for the past few months. I've run into nice color changes and tons of flying fish in 80' of water. I just want some more info for a little deeper so I can actually go out and try to target some pelagics. Plus, it would be nice if it(Ripcharts) had some coordinates for bottom spots like Hilton's does. Guess I just need to check it out.

Yep, still plan on fishing with y'all this week. Driving up Thursday and should be there late that night or early Friday AM. I'm bringing a jigging setup and my two Avets to see if they get the Redweiser seal of approval. And a lot of beer!

Just talked to Boomer on his way to Hopedale for a day of spec. fishing with a friend who has a camp there.

He did an overnighter Sat and had an engine problem ... boat's in the shop now. Mechanic said; one cyl wasen't firing ... probably a minor thing.

Dropped Wed ... figuring on Thu now.

Well, y'all get there and find the fish for me. I personally need to land 2 YFT per day while I'm there and BOOMER needs to hit perfect gaff shots on them(I'm sure you'll here me rag on him pretty hard about his gaffing).
I'm really looking forward to learning some new stuff and in general, having a good time.

Well .... everyone has their prerequisits. Do you think you can jig up a tuna when we're making a long time consuming daytime deep drop drift (1500-2000ft) for swordfish?

We'll see. Maybe I'll go ahead and try to jig up a couple of swords too

No big deal that this trip was aborted, the muddy water is moving quite a distance out.
