Default Closed inshore ramps for non-tidal waters

I saw a post about this subject elsewhere and it would surely save those that travel to fish a lot of expense and trouble. Nothing is worse that to travel 200 miles to go fishing only to find out the boat ramps are closed because of the low lake levels.

Post up your local info please.

Person County, NC Lakes

Mayo Lake located off of NC 49N Has three lanes and the LEFT lane is closed on that ramp.

Hyco Lake located off NC 57 has two ramps. The ramp beside the Lake Authority Ranger Station is closed. The other ramp across the lot has two of the three lanes open. Both are pretty shallow.

This was based on the weekend of 9/8/2007

We have had no rainfall in three months so the level may be lower no than before.

It rained all day here yesterday and we are due for more today. Here is a couple of pics I snapped of Arrowhead Campground Ramp (still open BTW) at Badin Lake last weekend while 4 wheeling at Uwharrie National Forest:

I was watching all that in Georgia on the news and thought to myself....."Now everywhere is a ramp"

Don't they just let ya'll back down a nice easy sloped bank?

The guides in Lake Lanier are seemingly lovin' the low water, more fish concentrated.
