Default Offset Circle Hooks

I hope they don't do this in Federal waters too .... that's my favorite hook.

((( On 6/1/08, Florida will not allow offset circle hooks to be used when fishing for reef fish in state waters. )))

They gotta catch me first - I'm sick and tired of govts telling me what I can't do. Just leave me alone and let me fish.

i like the offsets, but i definitely hook more fish deep with them and since roosterfish and sailfish are two of my main targets, have been getting away from them with these species.

I haven't had a problem with the Gamakatsu 8/0's I get from Jeff at anglersystems.

I think we had to cut the line one time on sails and I've caught a few. Maybe it's because I don't drop back much and let them swallow it ... when I feel pressure, I engage ... have a good hookup ratio too.
