Default Outrigger question

Okay, this is a novice question. I have 18' taco telescoping outriggers. I currently run one line off of each of them. If I wanted to go to twolines, could someone explain the process ofdoing that? Where do you usually buy the outrigger cord, is it already rigged, would you go to two pulleys, I need the whole ball of wax. I've fished outriggers before, just never riged them and I can't seem to remember what a two line setup looks like. Thx in advance....David

Dave you can see how mine are rigged in the photo. My riggers are fixed not telescoping. I would think double rigged extendables might be a pain when trying to store all the rigging. Each side of mine have two swivels. I use blacks clips and a double halock halyard. I also use 400lb mono for rigging. one is blue and the other is black. You will have to do all the rigging yourself becayse all boats are different. Taco sells a kit to rig two outrigger lines. they use a nylon cord,,,,,Mark

I would recomend staying away from the Taco kits, I had one and the clips both have broken, I accidentally bought Tigress clips to replace them (knock offs of the Blacks) and they both lost the locking nut on the way out ON THE FIRST TRIP. For clips either use Blacks (the real thing) or Rup Nok Outs.

I need to rerig mine, I would do something similar to what Mark did. I would go with double Hal Locks, they lock into place to prevent creep, 400 lb mono, and Blacks clips. Stay away from the rigging packages, they use cheap components. My outriggers also telescope (Taco 15 ft, heavy poles) and I'm worried about how they will be to store, even with the outrigger caddy.
