Default Fuel transducer

I have a Navman GPS that came on the boat when I bought it. It has the capability to tell you fuel usage as well as fuel burn. In order for this to work I have to buy the fuel transducer for the gas tanks. Has anyone had to install one of these or know whats involved to put them in?

They are real simple to install. They come with good directions. You need to be able to get to a fuel line and have a little space to get the sender mounted in a vertical position. All that is explained in the directions.

Will I have to cut my tanks or drill a hole in it? I have 1 fiberglass tank and 2 stainless tanks.

No you just need access to your fuel line. The sending unit does not go in the tank but is installed in the fuel line....Mark
