Default Furuno Nav Net 3

Anybody at that Lauderdale show have a chance to try these new units? They were just unveiled today, and the website looks like it's pretty impressive, any feedback from the show?

I'm looking at the Furnuno NN3 and the Garmin 5212, I really like the "zero wait" screen refresh rate advertised on the Furuno. Did not like the slow refresh on the Garmin unit I saw at West Marine.

Both are great systems, just might be waiting awhile on the NN3.

NavNet 3D HANDS DOWN. I want to get rid of my setup next year to get the new Furuno 3D. Absolutely amazing.

I currently have the Garmin 4212, and while it's a great unit, the slow refresh is very annoying. I'll be selling my current setup next year for the NN 3D.

I would not be surprised to see more updates with the Garmin, not sure about the screen refresh though.

is the NN3 plug and play with current Furuno electronics? I might just get the "old" Furuno now and plug and play the new NN3 next year.

Anyone know how big the screens will be on the new 3D systems? I have a 10inch Nav Net and would love one day to pull it out and replace it with the 3d. (Flush mounted 10inch screen)

They have an 8.4" and a 12". If you go to the navnet.com site, you can download the exact dimensions of each in the specification sheet. The 12" is only a bit bigger than the current 10.4" NavNet VX2.
