Default Navionics vs C-Map

Currently I have a Furuno vx2 10.4 display Navionics. I'm rigging the boat with the electronics now. I know that I want to add Satellite Weather to the boat. The question I have is how do the charts Navonics Gold Plus series w/Fish-N-Chips compare with the C-Map charts for the Furuno. I realize the C-map chart will not work with my current unit, but I have been told I could have the software re-flashed. With the C-Map then I have access to the Sirius Weather. If I stay with Navionics charts, I'll add a Garmin 4208 as a backup plotter.

I'd like to find out the differences, pro's and con's from actual experience.

Thanks in advance.
Jeff

If it's any help, I don't find the fishing chips very helpful. If you aready know your area, it's superfulous info. I have the Raymarine e120's. I did put in the aft facing camera that I do find useful. Good Luck!
