They come with a Garmin 1 year warranty Capt.

Ive got an old Garmin 168 that I bought new back in "03" that still works great!

Those 168's were awsome machines when they came out. I have a 168 in one of my kayaks and a 162 that was on a customers boat that went down during hurricane Katrina for over a week. Thing works like a charm.
