Seriously,

Other than a couple of cattle boats (Captain Elliots-Free Port Texas, and Charlie Hardison & Sons-Fourchon Louisiana) I've really only fished with a couple of other guides on a regular basis. Both are great! Of course now Farmerjane, Myself, & a few others regularly fish with Welder on the Skintback.

Farmerjane, myself, Welder, & Scott (another friend of ours) have fished with Terry Haun, a guide out of Port O'Connor Texas. The man is physcho - he will put you on fish whether you like it or not. You can do a search on Riptide Charters, or search on his name - Captain Terry Haun. His charges are rather high, but he will put you on fish & will go out up to 80 miles off the coast. If you like to hunt, well, he also has the Haun Ranch - deer, turkey, dove, & hogs. I have not personally been there but have some buddies who have. They report great hunts plus wonderful times with above average accommidations.

Farmerjane, Welder, & I have also fished with Captain Leonard McPheters - Captain Mac as we call him - also out of Port O'Connor Texas. Capt. Mac is rigged for bay & offshore. He is reasonably priced, is knowlegable, fun, and offers cabin rentals which are also reasonably priced. He can be found at www.bayshoresportfishing.com

I know Welder asked for photos, well, you can see some photos of all of us if you visit Capt Terry's or Capt Mac websites.

Out of MHC I would put all my money on Capt. Shane on the Second to None - Fighting Lady.
We are due out on the Qualifier out of OI in mid-November, so I will report on Finn Gaddy and his ability to put us on the tuners.

Out of Morehead Tony Ross is a friend of mine that owns Wet-N-Wild, we have alway's done well with him. Peligic out of Morehead should be good as well, I have fished with Mike on Tony's boat and he has taught me a lot. I havn't fished aboard Palegic though. Like AG said a lot of people highly recommend second to none, and those guy's seem like really cool guy's.

OBX Charters.

Offshore - Outrigger (Oregon Inlet Fishing Center).
Inshore - Poacher (Oregon Inlet Fishing Center) If you are looking for a charter for Striper this is your guy!

I have been out on a lot of others, but these two were the best in my mind!

There are a few I would also say to stay away from, but I don't want to anger anyone!

Eddie Burger out of Venice, La. I have fished with him twice and both times I thought he gave 100% to not only try to put us on fish, but also to teach us a few things about fishing for YFT, Wahoo, etc.

Also, the Dubois brothers in South Florida. Just took a standard half day trolling trip with my wife, then fiance'. They extended the day slow trolling Bonita to try to get us a Wahoo and also do some bottom fishing.

One other guy out of Orange Beach, Al named Captain Morgan of Morgan Charters. He and his deckhand were great to fish with.
