Default Fishing this weekend?

We're planning on giving it a try this weekend. Going out of Hatteras on Sunday and Monday if the weather holds. Anybody else?

Yup, if the forecast holds (knocking on wood) it should be fine. Hope so!

We will be Striper fishing out of Wanchese this week-end. Although I am hearing scattered reports, I sort of feel like Lewis and Clark on a scouting mission. We will turn North out of the Inlet and look around. Seems that several friends will be out so maybe we can network..
Good Luck to All!

Dawiggs had a good day....he got a limit. Let's see 'em Dave....

We started a bit late, and in hindsight, Dave gave me the report before we even hit the water, but we were too chicken to run that far in the Maycraft. We shouldn't have been....

We Trolled around at various points north of the beach, marking huge bait balls in cloudy water. AT 10:30 Am, Dave called and said he was catching. We continued north with our stop and troll method, all the time worrying about the fuel issue. Finally we ended up about just south of where Dave was, but we were so worried bout the fuel that we gave it a go and headed back in.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda, we'll know better next time... That Maycraft can make it to the state line and back on a calm day, haulin 100 Lbs of Rock on the way back.
