ASA tournament, Pirate's Cove

Sooo, is anybody fishing in it? I am gonna give it a try with my father even though I haven't heard much on any in the ocean. There's no way we will be getting close to the bar so a run far north might be in the game plan...any other ideas? We might have a spot or two open if anyone else would like to join, will have to check today.

Alex, I will be down this weekend but I have no idea what I will be doing or who will be with me. I may fish one day and then, I am bringing my boat home for a couple of months. I may hit the bar on Saturday.

I was scheduled to fish this tournment with friends but we never could get the crew co-ordinated. Maybe the lack of fish and the thought of the long run to Va waters. I am returnIng to the Beach this PM and will check in on you at Pirates Cove in the next day or so...

Sounds good to me. From what I keep hearing you have to join the ASA to be eligible for all of the prize money, otherwise you only get half. What am I going to get for joining the ASA? For $50 what are they going to hook me up with to make it worth it you know? It seems like they are just trying to gain numbers by creating a prize money barrier.

On the other hand the seas look like they may be a little bumpy so that could work to our advantage for a 60 mile run or so but at this point I don't know what the boundaries are or anything so maybe that will be weird to! We'll see tonight and work from there.

Dave - I should be lurking around tonight and for the next couple days...we might be making some bold moves so it could be hero or zero with the fish....
