Fishing ain't cheap... you have to pay to play...I'm putting some meat on the deck this year. Today's report from the private boats....dropped coin tonight on rigging essentials...big eyes are hanging around now...it's only a few weeks out.

I'll be tearing up the Alligator river this weekend looking for largemouth.

Spent all last weekend getting 22 rods ready to roll for the summer. New everything. We are ready to go next weekend for anything that swims. Thinking about spending the weekend in Hatteras to start things off. Cant wait!

A change of pace for me. I went to Ocracoke Wed-Sat and fished the annual Surf Fishing Tournament. There were 70 six person teams and our team finished 29th. Had a great time and saw lots of old friends!
