Default Fishing 2/14

Well, the Tuna Teaser may wake from her slumber this weekend and try to catch a rockfish or two. If not there is a chance we may try the regulator on Sunday. The RIGGED UP caught several bluefins and 8 yellowfins yesterday.

Forget that its gusting upwards of 40 already in Manteo right now, it looks like the wind will continue to die the rest of the week from the NW through at least monday...

Anybody else looking? Rockfishing continues to be very good. Am I the only one single enough to pull rockfishing/daytona on Valentine's day?. Some pictures from last year around this time

triple hookup

Another double...

Alex,

It's blowing so hard right now I don't know which nostril to pick. I've been neck deep in water from Rodanthe to Kitty Hawk today. 60MPH gusts.. Even the sound is 3 to 5 feet....Good luck on that ocean laying down thing. Been pumping ground water from the basement for two weeks straight. NC12 is straight shut down from OI south for the next two days, tide is running hard...it's just a crummy winter for us down here.
