Default Friggn deer season needs to be extended!!

This is the second time I've hit a deer in the last 3 weeks. 1st one only messed up the front license plate bracket. Second one did a lot more damage. Basically, everything between the bumper and hood is destroyed, including the radiator. I love this truck too, just clipped 203k on the odometer. NC really needs to extend the hunting season on Bambi

Ouch... that's no good. I would think you could get a used radiator pretty cheap? I got a great deal on a nice brush guard for my tahoe a couple years ago and am banking on that helping things out should one walk out.

This truck is a '93 so 203k isn't really a lot of miles. Now if you think this is a lot of miles, you should see my 2004 Freightliner CAT work truck. She has 763k!, and never had any major repairs

Fernando, mighty nice of you to offer. Body shop has the truck now and has already ordered the parts to repair it, but I do appreciate it. Turns out State farm totaled the truck today due to the miles and age, but we're going to buy it back and fix it. Total of $2700 damage. Sure will be glad to get it back, especially with snow in the forecast
