I cannot fish friday unfortunately. Lemme know- Sunday's window looks like it's completely gone even for rocks now too, dammit winter fishing is tough!

I'm looking to get out either tomorrow or friday. I don't know if I want to go north or south.

Seth are you heading out to try the tuna? That is the big question which way to go? The water doesn't look to bad due east. No one has been out so its a toss up. Looks like mucho current down around the point but wonder if the water temp is right east or a little north. Let us know if you head out Friday maybe we can team up on some tuna...???? Mark

Well I'm thinking north for some rockfish tomorrow. I hear they could be off kitty hawk and most likely no further than duck. Maybe we will get some offshore reports tonight and I will change my mind. If I look for tuna I would think south to that 70 deg. water, despite all the current. That mixed low 60's water pushed up along the edge seems just a little cool. we'll see tonight.
Mark, maybe I'll catch you at the dock tomorrow. Also, I'm not against doing friday offshore also, especially if you needed a passenger.

I would think starting around the 630 would be the safest option without a report to work off. Fish were found north last and by starting there you are right in the middle of things in case you miss the bite either direction.

As far as rockfish, they were found off duck today-

Mark, will you PM me your number? Some things have changed and it looks like I'll be fishing saturday as of now on that regulator so i'm gonna want a friday report from you! Not sure what species to target yet until the reports roll in but if tuna fishing is good we may do a combo trip
