Default Yellowfin are still biting.....aarrrrrrr!!!

This time of the year, it is almost impossible for me to go tuna fishing . I work for the USPS, so you can probally understand that we are "hauling the mail" right now. Plus, the weather rarely coorperates at this time of the year for a small boat and even if it did, either work or the cold weather will make it hard to find a crew. Add into the equation that a lot of money will be flying out the door for Xmas gifts, thus leaving little money for a quick trip offshore. Is anyone understanding my frustration level right now, seeing the Oregon Inlet fleet return EARLY daily with limits of yellowfin??? Man, I would love to get out there after them right now!!

When [if ] I graduate on the 18th, I should have time, graduation money, youthful stupidity and resistance to cold, as well as a burning desire to fish. So if you need crew, get a weather window and find the time...I'm in...seriously.

I'm just looking for a weather window right now. I'm ready to get back down there and get at them.

She was cranking in Wanchese yesterday. I went down to do some service work on the boat. Even pulling the boat and hiding from the wind behind the Bluewater building I had to nail everything down to keep everything from blowing away. Went for a spin down to the sound and it was blowing 20-25 2-3 in the sound. And it was cold...Mark
