Fished out of PC on my neighbors boat SHOCKWAVE Thursday. Three decent blackfin and two dolphin. Missed about 7 bites. We fished above the Point. It sounds like the better bite was below the Point. Back to work on Friday and watching the wind blow on Saturday.

Fished thursday from about the 650-700, had just 1 other person on board. Beautiful day out there and plenty of meat for us. Put our first mako in the boat, had our share of tuna bites, quite a few misses and pulled off 2. Highlight and lowlight for the day: Double yft knockdown + mako at the same time, mako hit the long rigger than popped the flatline, missed, came back for the drop missed again than he was mad and finally felt the steel not 10 ft from the transom. Lowlight was losing a 12in. braid marauder to something that chewed through 175lb. cable. Never even pulled drag, the rod went down and popped back up. $35 bait gone on it's first day in the water. Good day

Very nice Seth. We managed one bailer, one blackfin, and a white went mental on the short center. Awesome day on the water!

Should have touched base with you. We had at least a couple of boats fishing Wednesday - Friday. I was onboard the Tina Louise with Offshore. I'll touch base with you when I head down again. It was slow out there for us all three days. Did manage to put some meat in the box each day. We seemed to have the better bite just a first light. When the rest of the fleet showed, it took no time for the bite to shut down.
