Hatteras Charter 9-26

Gentlemen,

Myself and a few friends are chartering the Hatteras Blue next Sat.

We've had a couple guys bail on us this week so we have two spots (maybe three) to fill. If anyone wants to hop on with us, let me know and I can get you the details.

It's a reasonable charter rate and they are definitely catching meat down that way.

I'm heading down on Tuesday and going to try and head offshore on Weds/Thursday. My folks will be down with me, but I'm not sure how long they will be staying. Give me a shout next week.

I hate when that shit happens. You get the trip all set up, boat, food, hotel, etc., fork up a bunch of money on deposits and then you get people backing out. Every trip I set up for some reason there's always some jackass that backs out. Now I get the money up front and if you can't make it , that's your tuff luck.
Josh, I hope you don't get burned on this because 3 guys not showing up is alot to make up by the people that are actually going.
Dude if I was'nt in the process of closing down the yard in Mississippi and opening one in Florida I would be up there just to yell at your pencil pushing ass..........REEL MUTHERF&&KER REEL.

Yup Fernando that's a good idea to get the money up front from everyone. We had a guy back out this summer. He called the Cap about 20 minutes before departure. Arrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhhh.

I will never, ever set up a charter trip again. Terrible Pain in the arse coordinated 6 people's schedules. I've set up three trips for family and friends. Never again. Now I tell them to call the charter desk and ask for Make-up's

Then go drive my own boat. Sorry about the backing out Josh.

Yeah, you're right on Fernando. There will always be those types that you can't depend on. The key is to not invite them in the first place!!

Fortunately, I did not organize this trip but would like to add a few more to make it a fun day w/o bustin' anyones wallet. I'll send the details to those of you that expressed interest.

I hope to see a bunch of you guys down that way over the weekend if this forecast holds.
