Holly crap

And thats what is smelled like after pulling the anchor up off Manteo July 4th from watching the fireworks. My son and I along with my wife and friends daughter almost lost our dinner. I spent a good 15 minutes trying to knock off the gooey crud from the Anchor. What are they dumping out there???

i think it must be the same thing they are dumping in the gulf too....ours smell just like that

It was some real nasty sh*t. I think the sewage for the whole town must be dumping into Shallow Bag Bay. I tried not to let my feet touch bottom while water skiing after that.

Seriously, if you make it to Maine take a good whiff at low tide and tell me that mud don't stink just as bad!!

I don't know about that. I've dropped anchor in PA, DE, NJ, MD and FL. Nothing has ever smelled as bad as the stuff in that little bay. I could be wrong but I did not notice any flying insects around when that crap fowled my anchor.

It literally smelled like death
