I dunno, you got a newer one. And I've added a radar, 30 lbs of copper wire, radar mount, new hardtop, and outrigger mounts and poles on a ten year old boat. Seapro used 3/4 screw on those legs mounts, I'm gonna marine tex the holes and through bolt it. You might want to check if you have screws or bolts.

I'll say this though, the other three mounts got me home, and that's all that matters.

Interesting, I had not thought about the schooling effect as I assumed we were working leftover singles from the spring run. But your catch of quads proves I'm wrong this weekend. Thanks, food for thought.

The problem is the rigging on my reels. I should be running 50's with 80 lb. for tuna. That 40lb moimoi mono should not have snapped, it was brand new, and it didn't break at the knot, I had a face first view of it snapping 12 inches from the knot. We had the TLD at 9 lbs at strike, we drag checked it the evening before on a scale. My brother was super PO'd for the rest of the day.

yeah...i was pretty pissed..had some choice words to say after the line went slack and i saw my almost first tuna swimming away...but as people keep telling me, "that's fishing".

anyway it was great being on the boat out there and seeing some of my brothers friends. and in the next couple of weeks i'll talk my brother into taking my boat out there and trying again for something..

Hey Dave. Those were some fried green tomatoes with blackened tuna. I have a weakness for green tomatoes, they don't usually make it to the red stage around my house. Drives my wife nuts
