Chris thats what I am getting too!! Looks good for Sunday. We are going to do the Tuna thing Sunday. we have a few tricks that might work. Have to give them a try after seeing some of the reports..... Got to go for it!! We will be billfishing more starting in July through September. Josh, Alan, and myself have got that bug on our shoulders. We have been getting ready for that...Mark

Forecast looks pretty good on reefcast and couple other sites. NDBC's canyon forecast don't look all that great, but they're wrong more than they're right. We're fishing tuna, probally around the 630, and if that don't work out, may run down to the point and look for some gaffers. Are all the charters catching the tuna on the kite or are some being caught on the troll??

I'm going straight for the point and get into the gaffers. I don't have a kite and don't want to mess with it this trip. If I could get 10 gaffers in the boat it would be a very good trip for us.

I have a feeling though that in that pretty water something will come crashing through the spread. The billfishing has been great this year.

I'll be running outriggers this time tho, so you boys better watch out. The underdog always wins.

Sorry my mac has this dashboard function and I've integrated the weather into it and it didn't update yesterday...said 5-7 and completely different wind direction hah.

David, the charters are catching a lot of the tunas on a stick or on a kite. There will be a ballyhoo bite some days though as well. All I can say is that you might want to bring a topwater plug!

Hows the channel under the bridge. Last trip we were running one span south and had to hang the green markers out to the inlet. The channel was shoaling on the north side on the main span.....Thanks Mark

Me and Josh might be bringing my boat down Sunday, so A.) an update on the channel would be nice and B.) someone to hang in the general area of (Chris) would be nice since we'll be in a 23' boat with one motor that hates ethanol (and no, I'm not expecting you to tow me if it happens to break, I just don't like that lonely feeling when you're broke).

Be on 68 Ryan. Headed to the point I think, or just north from todays sat shot. Basically will follow around with the charters this time. Last time i drove solo into the ocean looking for tuna and wasted three hours of my morning.

If you break I'll tow you in at the end of the day. At least to the inlet where you can anchor and get ahold of Seatow or BoatUS.

Knock on wood....having said that, I'll break tomorrow and have to get towed in by you.

Mark, I believe it's fine, 7 feet or so. Two weeks ago I ran on the left side and didn't pay much attention as there were some commercial boats I was following in.
