Default Saturday/Monday-Oregon Inlet

I went out Saturday on Tag n Stick. We ran down the road to the 280 line Se of the tower. Water temp 84* and we worked around and caught 2 small blackfins. About 10am we found a good change/grass line and worked off into the deep... Caught about 12-15 nice class gaffers. We could have caught more if we changed baits but these guys are focused on marlin. Couple of hard mystery bites but no see-um...The charter fleet had good catches of tuna and dolphin , BUT, the majority of tunas were caught on green stick or kites.
Monday> Went down to Broad Creek to see what was going on and Capt BC came in with 8 big fat tunas and a nice wahoo. All the tunas were caught on green stick...
I never had any luck flying a kite as a kid, not sure I want to start now....However............
Regards,
