Looking to replace my 582 w/out having to redo the transducer and ideally I'd like to move my current Garmin GPS to backup duty and have my primary GPS in the Furuno family (one unit would be nice...but my budget is limited). I love the unit, but I can't read the screen in direct sunlight, which unfortunately is where it spends a lot of time since its mounted on the top of my console...plus I'm not unconvinced that the screen isn't dying...
Anyone have one or know of a Furuno unit that might be for sale? (for cheap?) Even better...does anyone need any manual labor for a few weekends, who happens to want to get rid of a Furuno bottom machine?
